CHRISTIE, GEORGE AUSTIN The passing of George Austin Christie of Fredericton occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, May 1, 2002. Born in Marysville, he was a son of the late Austin and Marion (Venner) Christie. George was a letter carrier with Canada Post for 35 years. Surviving are his wife Wanda, two sons Sean Kitchen of British Columbia and Wayne Christie at home, two daughters Lisa Jones of Fredericton and Trina Kitchen of Quebec, two grandchildren, Michael Jones and Victoria Jones of Fredericton, two aunts, two nephews and two nieces. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, where visitation will be held Friday 2-4 and 79 p.m. Funeral service will be at Holy Family Parish Church, Hanwell Road on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment in the Hermitage Cemetery. Donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
