MORASH, ALAN MICHAEL With great sadness, the family announces the passing of Alan Michael Morash of Fredericton, NB, on September 15, 2002 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton, NB. A wonderful father and husband, Alan was born in Truro, NS, on April 4, 1960. Alan is survived by his wife, Stacey and sons, Byron Alan, age 15, Alexander Joel, age 10, Neil Bruce, age 9, and Ian James, age 7, all at home. Alan was the son of Neil and the late Audrey (Palmeter) Morash. He is also survived by his sisters, Tricia (Dave), Marilyn (Del), sisters-inlaw, Diane, Cheryl, brothers-in-law, Bryron, Dereck, Michael, Arthur, nieces, Jennifer, Michelle, Melanie, Sarah, Erin, Heather, Megan, Jessica, Aileen, Erin and nephews, Shaun, Blake, Julian, Scott; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Alan graduated from Acadia University in 1982 with a B.Sc. degree. Alan was well known in the telecommunications industry in the Maritimes for his personal service, especially during his employment with Schneider's Electronic Express in Truro, NS. He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Robert and Verna (Wescott) Palmeter and paternal grandparents, Fred and Myrtle (Kneeland) Morash. Visitation will take place at the Mattatall Funeral Home, Truro, NS on Tuesday, September 17 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Onslow United Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 18 with the Rev. Janet Blois officiating. A reception will follow in the church hall. Cremation will follow. Interment will be held 11 a.m. Friday in the Mahon Cemetery, Great Village. Family flowers only. Donations in Alan's memory may be made to an educational trust fund for the children at the Royal Bank, Truro, or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
