COSMAN, AUSTIN R. Millinocket Austin R. "Freddy" Cosman, 62, died at a Bangor hospital December 2 2002. He was born in Minto, New Brunswick on August 24, 1940 the son of Austin and Margaret (McCann) Cosman. He grew up in Minto where he attended schools and later served four years in the Royal Canadian Air Force. He moved to Millinocket in 1970 where he worked for Great Northern Paper Company until 1999. Freddy loved the northern Maine woods and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his best buddy, Don Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Barbara (LeFait) Cosman of Millinocket, his children, Daniel and wife Carrie (Dickinson) Cosman, their childen, Maria and Daniel Cosman all of Prince George Virgina, a daughter, Kelly and husband, Charles McGreevy of Petersburg, Virginia, and their children, John Cosman and Megan and Brandon McGreevy all of Petersburg, Virginia; his sisters, Margaret and husband Ralph Annis of McAdam, New Brunswick, Jean Grant of Ottawa, Ontario, and Mary Ann and husband Ronald Bailey of Minto, New Brunswick, sister-in-law, Margie Cosman of Minto, New Brunswick, a brother-in-law, Rene "Pinto" and wife Betty LeFait of Minto, New Brunswick, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and a brother, Bill of Minto, New Brunswick. Friends may call at R. L. Bouchard Funeral Home, 11 Tamarack St., Millinocket from 6 to 9 PM Thursday, December 5. A Service will be held 1:00 PM Friday at the funeral home with The Rev. Dr. Patrick Seymour officiating. Spring burial will be in Millinocket Cemetery.
