BROOKS, MEGAN EUROWNY At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Saturday, January 17, 2004, Megan Eurowny Brooks, age 81, of Fredericton, N.B. passed away. Born in Wales, she was the daughter of the late Evan and Katherine (Smith) Evans. She was a member of the United Church and VCW, Ladies Auxiliary Branch # 15 Marysville and the 55 Club Nashwaaksis. She is survived by 4 children; Frances Stairs (Bert) of Nackawic, Catherine Crowley (Gary) of Woodstock, David Brooks (Marion) of Oakville, Ontario and Randy Brooks at home. 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 sisters; Hannah Tozer of Hawkshaw, N.B., and Mary Ann McHatton of Fredericton. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Samuel Ormand Brooks, a son Jerry Trecartin and 3 sisters. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, with visitation Monday 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 19, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Interment at the Barony Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Palliative Care Unite at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital would be appreciated.
