(1914-2008) Passed peacefully away in her sleep at her home on June 7, 2008, at 93 years of age, Clarissa Squires. Predeceased by her husband Eli, granddaughter Lisa, her sons-in-law, Lester (Hutch) Riche and Ernie Strickland, sister Ella and brother Aubrey, both of Seldom, NL. Leaving to mourn daughters: Carole, Cheryl (Don), and son Barry (Sheila), seven grandchildren: Ian (Sherry), Jeremy (Susan), Heather (Chris), Dawn (Clive), Shaun (Stacey), Sarah, and Megan, nine great-grandchildren, special friends of the family Joan & Tony Bantleman, Pat & Ken Mercer and Roger Maunder. Also left to mourn are many other relatives and a large circle of friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at 11 a.m. from St. Philip's Anglican Church.
