BROWN, DR. CLAUDE BAIN The death of Dr. Claude B. Brown of Oromocto, NB, occurred on Saturday, March 27th, 2004 at his residence. Born in Harvey Station, NB, he was the son of the late Colby and Margaret (Bain) Brown and husband of Ann (Holland) Brown Dr. Claude, as he was known, was a family man and a family physician. He loved reading, history, music and sports, especially hockey and baseball. He was a graduate of Saint John High School, University of New Brunswick, Dalhousie University and was a member of the New Brunswick Medical Society. Survived by his wife, Ann of Oromocto, NB; two sons, Mark R. Brown (PhD) of Ottawa, ON and Marty H. Brown (Erin) of Halifax, NS; one sister Berna Brown of Fredericton Jct., NB, canine companion, Tess and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and one brother, Raymond Brown Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 30th, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 31st, 2004 at 11:00 am with Rev. Ken Weir as celebrant. A reception will follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. www.oromoctofh.com
