MOORE, MARGARET ANN The death of Margaret Ann Moore occurred peacefully at her residence, Pine Grove Nursing Home, on April 4th, 2004. Born in Fredericton on February 4th, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Maude Bustin and Walter Kerr. She was predeceased by her husband, Glendon Robert (Patrick) Moore; three sisters, Helen Carr, Edith Mills and Jean Liston and two brothers, Walter Kerr Jr. and Willard Kerr. She is survived by one son, Robert Moore (Mona Lee) of Fredericton; one daughter, Connie Moore of Dartmouth; one sister, Dolly Blauveldt of Fredericton; three grandchildren, Melissa Ramsay of Miramichi, Kristian Moore of Fredericton and Heather McLeod of British Columbia and five great-grandsons, Keegan, Connor and Cadhan Moore and Zachary and Patrick Ramsay. A member of the teaching community, she had a long and rewarding career that started at a small school in Cloverdale, Carleton County in 1934 followed by positions at Carlyle, Rusagonis and New Maryland. She went on to Barker's Point where she was a Principal for twelve years. She finished her teaching career at Harold Peterson Junior High School retiring in 1979. Mrs. Moore was a mentor and friend to generations of students. She was highly respected and devoted to her profession. She was a caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. "Nanny Moore" will be missed by all her children. There will be no visitation or memorial service by request. The family will hold a private graveside memorial service in the Rusagonis Baptist Cemetery at a later date. www.mcadamsfh.com
