
OLIVE SADIE MCALLISTER
MCALLISTER, OLIVE SADIE "The gates of Heaven swung open, a loving voice said, come. Mum gently took her Masters hand and her life on earth was done." Surrounded by her family, Olive Sadie McAllister, of the Seniors Complex in Coles Island, went to be with her Lord on May 11, 2004. Beloved wife of the late Walter Emmerson McAllister Sr., who passed away in 1969, and the daughter of the late Zella and Jarvis Brown of Iron Bound Cove, Queens Co., NB. Mum spent all her life as a homemaker and mother, raising nine children. Mum was the organist at the Pentecostal Church in Coles Island until 2003. Mum will be greatly missed by her children: Aubrey and wife Viola of Minto, Ivan and his wife Sarah of Long Creek, Marlene Taylor of Millcove, Mary Bird and husband Dale of Burtts Corner, Lorna Kolls and husband Fred of Regina, Sask., Judy Perry and husband John of Cody's, Brenda Fowlie and husband Ron of Quispamsis, Ellen Malloy and her husband Dennis of Cody's, Janice Chase and husband Jeffrey of Chipman, three daughters-inlaw, Freda Young and Mary McAllister both of Ripples and Margaret of Snider Mt., four sisters, Ronella Ogden and her husband Ernest of Oldtown, Me, Frances Elliott of Chipman, Vera Kelly of Aroostock, Florence McRae and her husband Rowan of Midland and her sister-in-law, Olive Brown of Chipman, 47 Grandchildren, Ernest, Shirley, Peter, Murray, Barbara, Beverley, Wayne, Earl, Susanne, Rachael, George Jr., Linda, Glenna, Greg, Gary, Doug, Joyce, Laverne, Milton, Roger, Sharon, David, Paul, Debbie, Della Mae, Stephen, Lloyd, Terry, Milton, Andrew, Michael, Kerry, Krista, Heidi, Aaron, Leonard, James, Jason, Colin, Megan, Rachelle, Kayleigh, Benjamin, Carla, Ashley, Matthew, Brianne. Mum will also be greatly missed by her many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Olive was predeceased by her sons Lloyd in 1961, George in 1994 and Walter in 2003, her brothers Bill and Abner Brown, her sister Della Copeland and her grandson, Laurel Taylor. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-4331176), were visitation will be held on Thursday 2-4, 7-9 pm. There will be visitation with the family on Friday from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church, Minto, NB. The Funeral Service will be held from the Full Gospel Pentecostal Church on Friday, May 14, 2004 at 2:00 pm with interment in the adjoining cemetery. www.wallacefuneralhome.com
