McKEEN, GEORGE ALBERT The passing of George Albert McKeen, husband of Florence (Guitard) McKeen, of Fredericton, occurred August 27, 2004 at the St. John Regional Hospital. Born in 1939, he was a son of the late Odbur and Pearl (Kitchen) McKeen of Kingsclear. Mr. McKeen worked as a self-employed mechanic and he loved Bingo. Besides his wife, George is survived by one son, Carman McKeen (Brenda) of Harvey Station; three daughters, Mary Paul (Tracey) of Fredericton, Georgina McKeen of Kingsley and Laurie Thibodeau (Sheldon) of Kingsley; five grandchildren, Jessica, Jamie, Garett, Chelsie and Ryan; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. McKeen is predeceased by his parents and one brother Ivan McKeen. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home on Sunday, August 29th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Monday, August 30th, 2004 at 2 pm with Rev. William Murphy officiating. Interment will take place at the Upper Kingsclear Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be, Carmen McKeen, Georgina McKeen, Laurie Thibodeau, Sheldon Thibodeau, Mary Paul and Tracey Paul.
