
Mark Wayne Jordan

OLD HALIFAX ROAD, Pictou County – Mark Wayne Jordan, 38, of Old Halifax Road, Pictou County, passed away unexpectedly at home. Born October 23, 1969, in New Glasgow, he was a son of Doreen Jordan and Wayne Jordan, both of Stellarton. Mark worked as a machinery operator. He enjoyed watching movies, the history channel and playing hockey, but his passion was racing. Mark loved to be in his garage working on a car, or trying to figure out any mechanical problem. He loved animals, was very quite, shy and was of a very sensitive nature. Besides his parents, Doreen Jordan and Wayne Jordan, both of Stellarton, he is survived by a sister, Chantel (Jeremy) Martin, Linacy; special cousin, Leo Jordan, special uncle, Mearl Jordan, Westville; special aunt, Margaret Chatman, Annapolis Royal; very good friend, Gerald Turnbull, Stellarton; several other aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Margaret and Jim Reekie; and his paternal grandparents, Gertie and Edgar Jordan. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, September 13, 2008 in the H.C. MacQuarrie Funeral Home, Stellarton. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the First Presbyterian Church, Stellarton with Rev. Charles McPherson officiating. Cremation will follow. Family flowers only. Donations in his memory may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society.
