MACMILLAN, MONA FLORENCE The death of Mona Florence MacMillan of Fredericton, NB, occurred at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Friday, August 12, 2005. Born in Fredericton, NB, Mona was the daughter of the late George and Ada (Driver) Wandless and the wife of the late John Daniel MacMillan and the late Angus Gardner. Mona was a long-time member of the Christ Church Cathedral Friendship Guild, ACW, Choir and The Lucy's Sewing Group. She was also Honorary Regent of St. Anne's Point Chapter IODE and served on the executive of the York - Sunbury Historical Society. Survived by her loving daughters: Dr. Carrie MacMillan - Hicklin (Peter) of Sackville, NB; Judith MacMillan of Toronto, ON; Margaret McAllister (David) of Boonton, NJ; and Coral MacMillan - Lamey (David) of McBride, BC; as well as six grandchildren: Francesca and Fraser Baldry, Edward and Emma Hicklin, and Alicia and Kyle McAllister. Predeceased by her parents; husbands; sisters, Betty Teed, and Olive Woodbury; and brothers, Francis Wandless and Albert Wandless. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Sunday, August 14, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A memorial service will be held at Christ Church Cathedral on Monday, August 15, 2005 at 2:00 pm. The Very Rev'd Keith Joyce will officiate. Refreshments will follow the service in the Cathedral Hall. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
