CLARK, DONALD WILLIAM The death of Donald "Don" William Clark of Taymouth, NB occurred peacefully on August 13, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Saint John, NB he was the son of the late William B. Clark and Audrey J. (Janes) Clark. He was in his 65th year. Donald was Post Master in Boiestown, NB. He also was the treasurer for the Nashwaak Water Shed Association and was active with the Boiestown Woodsman Museum where he held the position of Secretary. Donald's greatest passion was fishing the Nashwaak and Miramichi Rivers. He was an avid flytyer, gunsmith and woodworker. Don is survived by his wife; Yvonne (Carr) Clark, one son Donald William Clark of Fredericton, NB; one daughter Marilyn King (John) of Burtt's Corner, NB; four grandchildren Sasha, Kathleen, John and David King; four sisters Gloria " Sissy" Shanks (Don) of Marysville, NB, Evelyn Lyons (Marvin) of Doaktown, NB, Bonnie MacFarlane (Bryon) of Lincoln, NB and Marianne Delwo (Ron) of Ottawa, ON; his mother-in-law Ethel Carr of Fredericton, NB and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by nephew Bill Shanks, niece Carrie Dawn Horricks and Father-in Law Theodore Carr. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 16th at 1 pm at the York Funeral Home 302 Brookside Drive Fredericton, NB followed by a memorial service in the T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel at 3 pm. Rev. Bev. Daley will participate. Honorary pallbearers will be: Don Shanks, Marvin Lyons, Byron MacFarlane, Ron Delwo, Arthur Carr and Jonathon Carr. A reception will follow in the Funeral Home's Fireside Room. Interment will take place in the Doaktown United Baptist Cemetery. For those who wish donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Allergy Asthma Information Association or to the Boiestown Woodsman Museum would be appreciated by the family.
