SHARON ELIZABETH LAWRENCE

LAWRENCE, SHARON ELIZABETH The death of Sharon Elizabeth Lawrence of Keswick Ridge, NB, occurred on October 25, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton, NB. Born on June 12, 1956 in Fredericton, NB, she was a daughter of Harold and Ethel (McNally) Lawrence. Graduating from Fredericton High School in 1974, Sharon went to the University of Prince Edward Island where she graduated in 1978 with a Home Economics Degree. After that, she went on to achieve her Bachelor of Education Degree from St. Thomas University in 1979. Sharon was a Seniors Care Provider with Senior Watch Inc., where she received many accolades and also the Above and Beyond Award from her co-workers. She was also a member of the Keswick Ridge United Church. She enjoyed gardening, photography, knitting, sewing, walking and snowshoeing. In addition to her parents, Sharon is survived by her brother, Beverly Lawrence (Catherine) of Luxemburg; two sisters, Marlene Lawrence of Petitcodiac, NB and Lorraine Allen (Kent) of Keswick Ridge, NB; many aunts and uncles; niece, Emma Allen; nephews, Levi, Travis, Joshua and Zachary Lawrence and special friends, Nancy DuPlessis and Wanda McAdam. She is predeceased by her nephew, Matthew Allen. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday, October 27, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 28, 2005 at 2 pm at Keswick Ridge United Church with Rev. Amos Adeniyi officiating. We ask that it be "scent free" due to family allergies. Interment will take place at Pickard Merrithew Cemetery, Keswick Ridge, NB. For those who wish, remembrances made to the Children's Wish Foundation, the Seniors Watch Inc., the Diabetic Association, the Keswick Ridge Untied Church Memorial Fund or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
