LOCKHARD, LLOYD DOUGLAS The passing of Lloyd Douglas Lockhard, husband of Nancy (Watson) Lockhard, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on January 24, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in 1937, in Dumfries, NB, he was a son of the late George and Irene (Carson) Lockhard and step-mother, Mabel Lockhard. Lloyd was a retired member of the Canadian Armed Forces. Besides his wife, Nancy, he is survived by two sons, Peter and his wife Otti Lockhard and Paul (Daniela) Lockhard all of Toronto; four grandchildren, Carson, AJ, Tara and Bryce; three sisters, Ruth (Bob) Charters of Toronto, Doris (Glen) Tapley of Prince William, Maxine (Clair) Jewett of Fredericton; mother-in-law, Pauline Watson of Fredericton; two sisters-in-law, Anna (Marvin) Walsh of Pembroke, ON, Louise (Phil) Murphy of Harvey; four brothers-in-law, Bob (Linda) Watson of Fredericton, David (Pamela) Watson of Kingston, ON, Austin (Faye) Watson of Fredericton, Randy (Janet) Watson of Harvey; aunts and uncles, Myrtle (Clifford) Mazerall of Hanwell, Eldon (Doris) Carson of Dumfries, Lillian Gullison of Woodstock, Shirley Lockhard of Lakeville, Mass; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 27, 2006 at 2 pm from St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 75 Main Street, Fredericton North, with Canon Bill MacMullin officiating. A reception will follow at the Church Hall. In lieu of flowers, remembrances made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Barony Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.
