FRANCIS, ELI STEPHEN The passing of Eli Stephen Francis, age 34 of Fredericton, NB occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 19, 2006. He was born at Ste. Anne de Kent, NB on December 5, 1971 and was a truck driver with M.L. Wilkins and Son Ltd. Survived by his wife Julia Kennedy-Francis; a son Anthony Bear of Fredericton; daughters, Nisa Kennedy and Timea Francis both of Fredericton, Tonya Francis and Alyssa Francis both of Eel Ground; father, Stephen Leonard Francis (Shirley); mother, Doris Paul; brothers, Paul Stephen Francis of Big Cove, NB, Eric Tomah of St. Mary's First Nation, Lorne Francis of Big Cove, John Francis of St. Mary's First Nation, Illyah Francis and Bronson Francis both of Big Cove; sisters, Robin Tomah of Mill Brook, Maryann Tomah of Truro, NS, Lorinda Francis of Eskasoni, NS, Maureen Peters of Big Cove and Stephanie Francis of Truro, NS; step-sister Carol Sock of Big Cove, NB; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by a brother Vernon Francis, a sister Audrey Denny and a step-brother Gerard Sock. Resting at his residence, 35 Barlow Court, Fredericton, on Thursday and Friday. A service will be held from his residence on Saturday April 22, 2006 at 2:00 PM conducted by Harry LaPorte and William Nevin. Interment will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery.
