Fairlie Statham

Fairlie Statham, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, passed away August 11, 2008 at the age of 68 years. Born in Moose Jaw, she received her education at William Grayson and Moose Jaw Technical School. Fairlie had lived courageously with the disease Scleroderma for the past twenty-five years always making time for her family and friends. She devoted her life to her family. Predeceased by her son, Alfred, parents, Mary Louise and Charles Walter Fuhr, Fairlie is survived by her husband, Alfred; children: Fairlie (Jim) Godin, Jim (Beth), Brenda (John) Bullock, and Shelly Harms; grandchildren: Mark and Paul Brand; Chaun McCurdy; Jesse and Ashley Godin; Tana, Kyla, Tyler, Alyssa Statham; Nathan and Quinten Harms; great-grandchildren: Makaya and Shavon. She is also survived by her sisters: Glenda (Chip) Lake, Gerry Treen, Marva Fuhr, and Sharon (Murray) Duchnycz, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Fairlie's Life will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. in the W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Chapel, 106 Athabasca St. E., Moose Jaw. Pastor Larry Hasmatali will officiate.
