FERRIS, BARBARA DONNA Barb Ferris (nee Bailey) passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 6th, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital in the Medical Intensive Care Unit as a result of an aneurysm. Born in Minto, NB on October 14th, 1961, she was the special daughter of Harold and Eunice Bailey (Stewart). She is survived by her loving husband, Norman of nearly 24 years. Four brothers, Daryl (Brenda), Ron (Kathy), George (Caroline) and Kevin (Anne) and one sister, Liz; several nieces, nephews and many good friends. She was predeceased by an infant brother, a brother-in-law, both paternal and maternal grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Barb was a dedicated employee of the Department of Health. She greatly enjoyed sharing her life with her family and her friends. Her favorite pass times included golfing and snowmobiling. Visitation will take place at the Minto Funeral Home (327-3490) on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 9th, 2006 at the United Baptist Church of Minto (124 Pleasant Drive) with interment in the United Baptist Cemetery, Minto. A time of fellowship will follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to any charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
