BOYLE, A. LOWELL BA, MA (ECON.) A. Lowell Boyle BA, MA (Econ.) born in Fredericton, January 8, 1946 - Lowell passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital March 20, 2007, after a courageous battle with cancer. Lowell was the son of Edna (Noble) and Gerald Boyle. Lowell is survived by his wife Sharon Boyle (Cooper) and 2 sons, Rob (Coralie), and Mike (Jennifer), three grandchildren Thomas, Madelyn (Rob), and Kathryn (Mike). Lowell is also survived by his parents Gerald and Edna (Noble) Boyle, his sister Mildred (Joe) Mercuri, nephew Andrew (Dawn), great niece, Kristen, great nephews John and James, his mother-in-law Audrey Cooper and sister-in-law, Debra Cooper. Lowell's large, extended family and wonderful circle of friends will also miss him dearly. Lowell, a senior economist, retired in 2002 from the Executive Council Office, Province of New Brunswick, and was a devoted career civil servant and passionate volunteer for the Kidney Foundation of Canada. Lowell enjoyed carpentry, gardening, the computer, writing, and loved being a grandfather. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Friday, March 23, 2007 from 2 pm to 4 pm, and 7pm to 9 pm. Funeral service will be Saturday, March 24, 2007 at 2:00 pm at McAdam's Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Harold Arbo with reception to follow. Interment will be at the Rusagonis Baptist Cemetery at a later date. Lowell received such excellent, gentle, and loving care from the nurses of the DECH Palliative Care Unit that, in lieu of flowers, our family would appreciate donations to the Unit to honour Lowell and the nurses who provide dignity and comfort to patients in their final days.
