MARY ALEXIS WRYNN
WRYNN, MARY ALEXIS 1917 - 2007 The death of Mary Alexis Wrynn, of Royal Court and formerly of Bromley Ave, Moncton, widow of the late Cyril Wrynn, occurred at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, May 27th. Born in Bouctouche, NB on October 8th, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Premier A. Allison Dysart and Blanche (MacDougall) Dysart. Mary and Cyril left Moncton in 1946 and lived in Brazil, Argentina, and England before returning to Moncton in 1967. She was a member of St. Augustines Roman Catholic Church, Moncton. Mary is survived by her children, F. Allison (Anne) Wrynn of Fredericton, Constance (John) Buki of Montreal, and Edward R. (Gladys) Wrynn of Edmonton; her grandchildren, Colin Wrynn of Ottawa, Ian Wrynn of Prince George, BC and Karen (Darren) McEachern of Edmonton; she is also survived by four great grandchildren, Zach, Josh, Marcus and Ava all of Edmonton; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her daughter Suzie Mariam in 1966; her sister, Memo Lyons; and her brother, Dr. Robert Dysart, both in 2004. Resting at Cadman Bowness Funeral Home (857-1110) 114 Alma Street, Moncton, visiting hours are on Wednesday, May 30th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Parish Prayers will be held at 8:30 pm in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, May 31st at 11 am at St. Augustines Church, Mountain Rd, Moncton, followed by a reception in the church hall. Interment will be in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Chartersville. Donations to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital or the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank Dr. Rubin and the oncology team at The Moncton Hospital for their support, diligence, and especially for their caring. They would also like to thank the staff at her home at Royal Court for all their care and support.
