CRESTON WAYNE MOREHOUSE

MOREHOUSE, CRESTON WAYNE The passing of Creston Wayne Morehouse of Zealand, NB, husband of Ella (Pinsent) Morehouse, occurred on February 2, 2009 at York Manor Nursing Home. Born on May 23, 1935 in Zealand, NB, he was the son of the late Ruby Morehouse. Before his retirement in 1997, he was employed by the Department of Transportation for 20 years, as a heavy equipment operator. Creston enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Nothing delighted him more than visitors. Since 2003, Creston has received excellent care at York Manor Nursing Home, where his contagious grin, saucy wink and teasing manner endeared him to the staff and residents. Creston's family sincerely appreciates how he has been treated with the utmost dignity, dedication and compassion during his stay. In addition to his loving wife, Ella, Creston is survived by his daughters, Maxine (Terry) Brewer of Zealand, Catherine (John) Sanchez of Long Island, NY; son, Glenn (Lisa) of Fredericton; grandchildren, Matthew and Katie Morehouse, Michael and Nicholas Sanchez, Brad and Danielle Brewer; mother-in-law, Katherine Pinsent of NF and several nieces and nephews. Besides his mother, Creston was predeceased by his grandmother, Emmie Morehouse and his father-in-law, Roland T. Pinsent. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 from 7 to 9 pm and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Friday, February 6, 2009 at 2 pm with Rev. D. R. McCarty officiating. Pallbearers for the service will be Carroll Brewer, Maurice Brewer, Dale Burtt, Lebaron Burtt, Leroy Burtt and Bob Wright. Interment will take place at the Zealand Community Cemetery at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the York Manor Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
