LOTTIE JANE BREWER

BREWER, LOTTIE JANE Lottie J. Brewer of Zealand passed away March 30, 2009 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born in 1913 at Zealand, she was the last surviving member of the family of the late Burden W. and Frances R. (Brewer) Estey. She was a member of the Burtts Corner Robins Seniors Group and St. Paul's Anglican Church where she held several offices in the Women's Auxiliary and Guild. Lottie was an avid quilter. Lottie is survived by two daughters, Ardith Crouse (Stanley) and Beulah Estey, both of Zealand; two sons, Laurel Brewer (Myra), Zealand and Alden Brewer (Marilyn), Fredericton; two daughters-in-law, Lorna Brewer, Lr. Sackville, NS and Catherine Brewer, Zealand; a son-in-law, Floyd MacNeill, Harvey Station; twenty-three grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and a niece, Edith Hardy, Zealand. In addition to her parents, Lottie was predeceased by her husband, Barry R. Brewer in 1967; a daughter, Viola MacNeill; three sons, Eldon, Barnet and Garnet Brewer; two infant grandchildren; two sisters, Edith Estey and Alice Estey; four brothers, Percy, Earl, Wendell and infant Garnet Roland Estey. Visiting hours will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 1407 Route 104, Zealand on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the church on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Archdeacon John Sharpe officiating. Interment will be later at St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery. A reception will follow at the church hall. Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Michael MacNeill, Jason Brewer, Justin Brewer, Lisa King, Shirley Babin and Laurel Brewer Jr. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Lottie, the family has suggested the St. Paul's Anglican Church or Cemetery.
