
BYRON ALLISON CARR
CARR, BYRON ALLISON Byron Allison Carr of Fredericton Junction passed away at the Oromocto Public Hospital on October 2, 2009 at the age of 75. Byron is survived by his wife of 53 years Annie (Burtt) Carr; three daughters, Leola Langille (Steve), Pam Brown (Mike) both of Geary and Ann Sparks (John) of Wirral; a very special niece Norma Barrieau (Joe) of Geary; two sons, Tony (Angela) of Geary and Elbridge (Tamara) of Central Blissville; three sisters, Barb Blake (Reg), Alvina Simmons and Carlon Carr; two brothers, Clarence (Josie) and Charlie (Shirley); 15 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; several nieces & nephews. Byron was employed as a woods worker in his early working years and a maintenance worker at Oromocto Public Hospital for 23 years. He was an Honorary Member of Gladstone Curling Club. Byron was an avid outdoors man, enjoying hunting fishing and guiding others on their hunting trips. He also enjoyed playing cards and entertaining anyone in ear shot with a great story. There was always room for one more at Byron's table when it came to meal time and his house was always open. In recent years Byron received great pleasure watching the many birds coming to his bird feeders, and the deer playing in the field. He is predeceased by his parents Mildred (Phillips) and Elbridge Carr, one sister Muriel Estey and one brother Lee Carr. Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home Monday October 5, 2009 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm for visitation. Funeral service arrangements are incomplete at this time.
