SEELY, NOREEN ELEANOR (GORMAN) It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of Mrs Noreen Eleanor (Gorman) Seely, wife of Douglas Seely, who passed away on Sunday January 31, 2010, at the age of 78, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Williamsburg, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Della (Dorcas) Gorman. Noreen was a member of the Gibson Memorial United Church and an avid member of the Fredericton Red Hatters. She enjoyed a lengthy career at Kent & White Insurance in Bathurst where she resided for over eighteen years. She was a good friend to many and she thoroughly enjoyed a good game of curling or cards. Noreen is survived by her son Howard McMinniman of Calgary, AB; daughters Patricia (David) Mercer and Jill (Bradley) Jenks both of Bathurst, NB; and grandchildren Amanda, Brittany, Scott and Joshua; stepson Michael (Peggy) Seely and stepdaughter Lynn (Bruce) Carr both of Fredericton, NB. She was predeceased by her first husband Neil McMinniman and her brother Aubrey Gorman. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home Ltd. 302 Brookside Dr. Fredericton NB on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 11:00 am at the Gibson Memorial United Church in Fredericton with Rev. David Brewer officiating.
