LYNN E. CULLINAN
CULLINAN, LYNN E. - Peacefully surrounded by friends and family, on March 2, 2002, at the age of 49, after a six year fearless battle with cancer. She was a lifelong resident of Saint John and a resident of 6 Station Road, Rothesay. Lynn is survived by her loving husband Brian, sons Justin and David, both at home, her parents Lloyd and Doris Parent of Saint John, her sister Judy, Mrs. Hugh McLellan, of Rothesay, brothers-in-law Joe and Michael of Saint John and Hugh of Surrey, BC, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Lynn was not only a partner in life to Brian but also a partner in the family business. She was a key player in making Prudential Summit Real Estate the success that it is today. Lynn had an immense passion for sailing and has navigated her boat and crew safely through many wonderful and exciting journeys over the years. She also enjoyed downhill skiing and especially looked forwarded to the annual March Break family ski trip to Aunt Lois and Uncle Bob's chalet in New Hampshire. Lynn's greatest love was for her two boys, Justin and David, whom with her guidance and love have developed the same compassion and love of life. Lynn had a special gift given her by her Heavenly Father and that was to bring a ray of sunshine in to the path of everyone she encountered. The word can't was not in her vocabulary. She will be sadly missed but there is not a doubt that she is now in heaven cheering somebody up. Lynn was a Christian by Faith and had a deep love for her Lord Jesus Christ. She attended the Kennebecasis United Baptist Church where she developed many special friendships. We would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses and staff at the Saint John Regional Hospital for all that they have done for Lynn over the past six years. A very special thank you to Dr. Simon Walling and Dr. James Mowatt for not only being gifted surgeons but for treating Lynn with such dignity and compassion. We would be remiss not to give the special thanks to all the staff of 4B South, the Emergency Room, Dr. Burnell and Dr. Saunders, and the CAT Scan Unit. There were so many dedicated and caring health care workers involved in Lynn's Care - we thank all of you. And finally we would like to thank all our family and friends who were there when we needed them - we are truly blessed. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM. The funeral service will be held Monday, March 4, 2002, at 2:00 PM, from Kennebecasis United Baptist Church, Hampton Road, Quispamsis. Interment will take place at Fernhill Cemetery.
