STEWART, PETER F. - At the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Friday, May 24th, 2002; Peter Frederick Stewart, husband of Florence Mae (McKellar) Stewart of West Saint John. Born in McGivianey, NB he was the son of the late Peter Frederick & Amy Josephine (Fairley) Stewart. As a local businessman Peter was the founder and previous owner of Ocean Westway Construction and West Side Construction. Surviving in addition to his wife Florence are his son George LeFait (Laurie) and their children Crystal, Amy & Matthew, all of Saint John, four step children, Kathy Cobbett of Saint John and her children, Kimberly Gould, Jake and Kayla Cobbett, Timmy LeFait of Sussex, Karen Cambell (Barry) of Halifax and their children, Nathan & Aaron Cambell, 2 brothers Russell of Saint John and Billy (Connie) of Minto, 2 sisters, Annie (Eddie Gallant) and Eunice (Harold Bailey), all of Minto, several nieces and nephews. Peter was predeceased by 4 brothers, John, George, Roy and Joe, 2 sisters, Dorothy Demmons and Stella Post. Resting at CASTLE "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue, West Saint John, NB (506-634-1701) from where the service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, May 28th, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. The interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, followed by a reception at the Fallsview Family Reception Centre. Visiting at the funeral home will be on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Donations may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
