ALWARD, ROY - Roy Alward, formerly of Lower Millstream, passed away at the Kiwanis Nursing Home on May 26, 2002. He is survived by his wife Lorna, 3 step-children, Valerie, Sharon and Kem, 4 sisters, Gladys Holbeche, Rilla Lisson, Myra Alward, Margaret Sprague, sister-in-law, Marion Alward, 3 step-grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Roy was predeceased by his brothers, Stanley and Donald and by 4sisters, Helen Rivers, Annie Ward, Muriel Bailey and Nina Ravn. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), with visitation on Tuesday 2-4, 7-9. Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 20 will hold a tribute Tuesday at 6:45 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, May 29, 2002 at 11:00 am.
