ARNOLD SR., MICHAEL DAVID - The death of Michael David Arnold Sr., of Marysville, NB, occurred on Monday, May 27th, 2002 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital at the age of 49. Born in Fredericton, NB, he was the son of the late Ronald Arnold Sr., and Mildred (Acorn) Arnold. Mike is survived by his longtime friend and companion, Peggy Johnson, his wife Beverly Arnold, his two sons, Rob Arnold (Janice) of Fredericton, NB, and Mike Arnold Jr., of Fredericton, NB, his two grandchildren, Lauren and Emma Arnold of Fredericton, NB, seven brothers, Ronald Arnold Jr., (Roberta) of Edmonton, Alberta, Terry Arnold (Helen) of Marysville, NB, Brad Arnold (Jeannie) of Hampton, NB, Eddie Arnold (Debbie) of Marysville, NB, Randy Arnold of Moncton, NB, Kevin Arnold of Fredericton, NB, and Scott Arnold (Elaine) of Fredericton, NB, one sister, Maryann Arnold (Henk) of Geary, NB and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his good buddy, John Joe. He was predeceased by his parents and one infant sister, Judy Arnold. Mike will be fondly remembered by his family and many friends for his sharp wit and sense of humour always with a smile. He was an avid sportsman and enjoyed salmon fishing, fly tying, and fly fishing, he was also a former member of the Fredericton Fish and Game Association. He recently received Volunteer of The Year for his contributions to the MS Society. He was an auto body repairman by trade, and was formerly employed with D&M Auto Body in Fredericton. The family will receive visitors at River Valley Funeral Home on Thursday, May 30th, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Marysville on Friday, May 31st, 2002 at 2:00 PM with Fr. Monte Peters as celebrant.
