DAVID M. DRISCOLL

DRISCOLL, DAVID M. - Peacefully, with his loving family at his bedside, David M. (Dave) Driscoll, husband of Geraldine (Gerri) (Gill) Driscoll, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday September 14, 2002. He was the son of the late Rev. Gordon and Annie (Stacey) Driscoll. He was a proud father of four sons; David (Pat), Don (Leslee Shea), Jeff (Colleen) and Sean (Susan Mayes). David will be sadly missed by brothers and sisters from British Columbia; Ernest (Cora), Gordon (Lois), Jean Sherwood (George) and from the Maritimes; Betty, Dorothy Jenkins (Ralph), Murray (Nita), Joan Fogarty (Michael), Grandchildren; Matthew (Catherine), Kendra, Morgan, Brendan, Kaitlyn and Joshua, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Born in Newfoundland in 1932, his family moved to Woodstock in 1944 and later to Saint John NB. In his earlier years Dave had worked as a Real-estate Agent, worked for Personal TV, K Mart and later owned and operated his own music store, Dave's Music. Dave had his private pilots license and loved to fly when he was younger, he also loved fishing, hunting, music, spending time with his grandchildren and when his health declined watching many birds that came to the bird feeders at his home. He is predeceased by his parents also a brother Wallace. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2002 at the Kings Valley Wesleyan Church, Quispamsis. Dave's family will receive visitors at CASTLE "Kings Chapel" Funeral Home, 154 Old Hampton Rd., Rothesay (849-1702) on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9p.m.. Following the Memorial service a reception will take place at "Kings Chapel" Funeral Home, Family Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers donations to the Extra-Mural Program, Neo-Natal Unit of SJRH or the NB Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
