PIRIE, RICHARD LeROY - The death of Richard LeRoy Pirie, age 49 of Saint John, NB, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on January 22, 2003. He was employed by Ocean Steel as Welding Inspector. He was born in Perth-Andover on November 14, 1953. A son of Eleanor (Hudson) Pirie of Sussex, NB and the late LeRoy Pirie of South Tilley. He is survived by two sons Richard E.L. Pirie of Bathurst, NB and Jim (James) Pirie of Fredericton; one daughter Adele Pirie of South Korea; five sisters and one brother Lois Paris of Sussex, Jackie Smith of Moncton, NB, Danny Pirie of Perth-Andover, Patricia Sullivan of Bellville, Ont, Sharon Giljam of Maryland, U.S.A. and Nancy Dyer of Sussex; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He will be missed by a companion Corina and her daughter Chyenne Delong. Will be missed by all his family and friends. Resting at White's Funeral Home with visiting hours on Saturday January 25, 2003 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday January 26, 2003 at 2 PM from White's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul DeMerchant officiating. Reception to follow at Perth-Andover Legion. In lieu of flowers donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation of donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. Interment to take place at a later date.
