INGERSOLL, GERALDINE AVIS - Geraldine Avis Ingersoll, 70; of Woodwards Cove, Grand Manan passed away at the Grand Manan Hospital Tuesday morning, February 18th, 2003. Born in Grand Harbour she was the daughter of the late Sherman and Laleah (Ossinger) Brown. Mrs. Ingersoll was a retired Certified Geriatric Nurse and was employed at the Grand Manan Nursing Home for over twenty years. A former member of the Campobello Ladies Auxillary Branch # 83 Legion, and a member of the Grand Manan Curling Club. Mrs. Ingersoll is survived by her husband Mr. John Ingersoll of Woodwards Cove, four daughters; Mrs. Sharon (George) Ingersoll of Castalia, Mrs. Stephanie (Dennis) Hyslop of Oak Bay, Mrs. Toby (Todd) Watkins of North Head, Donna Daggett (Bruce Estey) of North Head, one step-daughter Mrs. Glenda (Mervin) Fudge of Woodwards Cove, two sons; Mr. Brock (Florena) Daggett of Grand Harbour, Mr. Blaine (Dorothy) Daggett of White Head, three stepsons; Mr. Mark (Shirley) Ingersoll, Mr. Matthew (Patricia) Ingersoll and Mr. Luke (Jennifer) Ingersoll all of Woodwards Cove, also one brother Mr. Murray (Mary) Brown of Grand Harbour. Sixteen Grand Children and five Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son Bryce Daggett. Visiting hours will take place at Ells Funeral Home Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, with the Funeral Service taking place from the Grand Harbour United Baptist Church Thursday February 20th, 2003 at 2 pm with Rev. Dennis Sisco officiating and Rev. Troy Dennis assisting, interment to follow in the family plot at the Maple Grove Cemetery.
