BRIGGS, ETHEL - The death of Ethel Briggs of Victoria Glen Manor, occurred on March 27, 2003 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital at the age of 83. Born in Aroostook. She is survived by four sons David (Sandra) Briggs of Perth-Andover, Dana (Raymonde) Briggs of Barrie, Ont., Daryl (Nancy) Briggs and Donald (Cheryl) Briggs both of Saint John; four daughters Debra (Bud) Boyle and Dorothy Delaney both of Saint John; Diane (John) McCue of Fredericton and Darlene Briggs of Edmonton, Alb.; 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild; one sister Edith Burley of Halifax; two brothers Alton (Arlene) Walker of Tinker, and George (Aleta) Walker of Saint John. Predeceased by her husband Lawrence Briggs in 1982, parents Edward and Mildred (DeMerchant) Walker, two brothers Tom and Lawrence. Resting at White's Funeral Home, Perth-Andover with visiting hrs Friday March 28, 2003 from 7-9PM. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday March 29, 2003 at 11AM from White's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Maynard Rector officiating. Interment in the Presbyterian Cemetery at a later date.
