HEBERT, M. THERESA - M. Theresa Hebert of Fredericton, NB died at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Wednesday, December 10th, 2003. Born in Barachois, NB, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Edna (Gallant) Hebert. Theresa had many passions in life and her career was one of them. She began her education in Point du Chene as a child and became a graduate of Moncton High School. She then attended the New Brunswick Teacher's College. Later, she attended St. Thomas University and UNB receiving her BT, BA and her MEd. She taught school in Point du Chene, Campbellton and Oromocto. During her many years of teaching, she became very close with her colleagues, students and even some parents, keeping in touch with many after her retirement. Theresa also enjoyed her many craft projects and could often be seen with a paint brush in hand. She was also a member of St. Dunstan's Parish, the Bridge Club Group, the Fredericton Decorative Painters Association and the Stepping Stone Centre. Survived by her brother, Joseph Hebert of Point du Chene, NB; sister, Margaret Dove (Myron) of Fredericton, NB and nieces, Tanya Davis (Jim) of Fredericton, NB and Sonya Dove (Maurice) of Toronto, ON. She is also survived by her great nephew, Jacob Davis and great niece, Jessica Davis both of whom she loved dearly and she could often be seen at many of their music and sporting events. She will also be sadly missed by all of her cousins and friends. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Friday, December 12th, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Dunstan's Catholic Church on Saturday, December 13th, 2003 at 11:00 am. Monsignor Brian Sheehan as celebrant. A reception will follow in the Monsignor Boyd Centre. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Shediac, NB at a later date.
