SECORD, ISABELLE I. - Peacefully at her home in Hampton, surrounded by her family on January 24, 2004. She was born at Fort Fairfield, Maine, daughter of the late Murray and Lillian (Pring) Pickett. Isabelle served with several groups and organizations. She is survived by two daughters, Laura VanWart (Warren) of Saint John, Nancy Mann (Ron) of Fall River, N.S.; four sons, Charles Secord (Nancy Lee) of Salisbury, Karl Secord (Ann) of Prospect, N.S., Michael Secord of Saint John, Dean Secord (Angie) of Saint John; four sisters, Gwen Rognue (Lou) of Cambridge Narrows, Phyllis McGarity (Everett) of Cambridge Narrows, Vera Smith of Oshawa, ON, Eileen Noel (Harry) of Pictou, N.S.; four brothers, Fred Pickett of Sussex, Don Pickett of Fredericton, Murray Pickett (Phyllis) of Cambridge Narrows, Bob Pickett of Coles Island; 11 grandchildren, two great grandsons, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by infant son Gary, infant brother Franklin and brother Allan. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton. The funeral will be held Tuesday at Hampton United Church with service at 3:00 pm. Rev. Keith Lyons officiating. Interment in Hampton Rural Cemetery in the spring.
