WOOD, BARBARA MARIE (BLIZZARD) - The death of Barbara Marie (Blizzard) Wood of Oromocto, NB occurred on May 26, 2004 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in Fredericton , NB, she was the daughter of the late Lemuel and Lottie (Seeley) Blizzard and wife of the late Cecil G. Wood. Survived by two daughters, Heather Murray and Deborah Wood of Fredericton, NB; two sons, Robert (Kathy) Wood and Andrew (Suzanne) Wood of Oromocto, NB; four grandchildren, Lee (Andrea) Murray, Amanda Wood, Tyler Wood and Matthew Wood; two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Abby Murray; one sister, Beverly (Ivan) Wood of Oromocto, NB; one brother, Glenwood (Donna) Blizzard of Fredericton, NB; special niece, Jill Bennett and special nephews, Peter and James Wood. Barbara was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Cecil G. Wood; one son, David Wood and a brother, Lloyd Blizzard. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held from the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, June 1st, 2004 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Ken Weir officiating. A reception to follow the service. A private burial will be held at a later date. No flowers by request. For those who wish, memorial tributes made to the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital Oncology Dept., the Oromocto Public Hospital Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice, would be appreciated by the family.
