SMITH, JACQUELINE RUTH - The death of Mrs. Jacqueline Ruth (Stuart) Smith of St. Andrews, NB, loving wife of George A. "Bud" Smith, occurred on Friday, July 9, 2004, after a brief illness at the Charlotte County Hospital in her 76 th year. Born at St. Andrews, NB on October 30, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Andrew Wesley Stuart and Marguerite (Graham) Stuart. Jackie is survived by her daughters Beth (Gary) Wilson of Halifax, NS; Brenda (Keith) Pierce of St. Andrews, NB; Bari (Mike) Gourley Of Rusagonis, NB; two sons, Bruce (Sue) Smith of Halifax, NS; and Brent (Kim) Smith of St. Andrews, NB; one brother, Roy G. (Bud) Stuart of St. Andrews, NB; nine precious grand children and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Janet Saint of Ottawa, Ont. In earlier years Jackie worked for the Bank of Nova Scotia, and Cockburns Corner Drug Store, in St. Andrews. Jackie was a former member of the Heather Curling Club in St. Andrews, NB, as well as a former member of the Algonquin Golf Club, in St. Andrews, NB. A memorial service will be held on Monday July 12, 2004, from the Wesley United Church , St. Andrews, NB, at 2:00 pm. with Rev. Robert Johnson officiating. Visiting hours will be at the church on Sunday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Interment will follow at the St. Andrews Rural Cemetery. A reception will be held at the Church following the Interment.
