ESTEY, GERALD SINCLAIR - The death of Gerald "Gerry" Sinclair Estey, husband of Marion Frances (Machum) Estey, of Millidgeville, NB occurred on Saturday, August 7, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB a son of the late Arthur and Ensie (Mills) Estey, he was a veteran of World War II, serving overseas with the North Shore Regiment. Gerry was a longtime employee of Centracare until his retirement in 1985. Survived by his wife, Marion; one son, Steven (Elizabeth) and two beloved grandchildren, Michael and Megan of Saint John West; one brother, Ronald Burton (Loraine) Estey of Hammond River, NB; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two sisters, Bernice Hanson and infant Joy and two brothers, Randolph (Randy) and Glendon. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (506) 634-7425. By request there will be no visitation. Following cremation there will be a private family service followed by interment in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
