WILLIAM LOUIS BREAU

BREAU, WILLIAM LOUIS - William Louis Breau of 244 St. George Street West, husband of the late Muriel J. (Cawley) Breau, passed away at his residence on Saturday, September 4, 2004 after a lengthy illness. Born in Val-Comeau, NB, he was the son of the late Maxime and Obeline (McGraw) Breau. "Red" as he was known by many was a 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus #6770 for over twenty years and an honorary member of the R.C.L. Branch #2. He was also a former usher at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. He had a love for the outdoors and spent many seasons hunting with his sons and at his camp on Haynes Lake. "The door at the camp was always open" at the summer home and many hours were spent boating. "Red" is survived by his three sons William Breau Jr. and wife Sharon, David M. Breau and wife Dianne and Thomas L. Breau and wife Debbie all of Saint John, NB; his eight grandchildren Mike, Michelle, Jeffery, Trevor, Tanya, Terry, Angela and Scott; his four great grandchildren Courtney, Dave, Aliyah and Wiley, and his special friend Audrey Sands. Thanks go also to Laura Robichaud for being such a good friend. In addition to his wife and parents, William was predeceased by all of his brothers and sisters, Leon, Arthur, Louisa, and Melodie Breau. Resting at Castle "Fallsview" Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Avenue (634-1701) with visitation Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm and Monday 2-4 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday, September 7, 2004 from Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church at 12 noon. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery with reception to follow in the Assumption Center. Donations in Red's memory may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
