NORTHRUP, MARGARET HELEN - The death of Margaret H. Northrup, age 85, wife of Chester L. Northrup, of Norton, occurred at the Sussex Health Centre, Sussex, NB on Saturday, December 3, 2005. She was the daughter of the late Jeremiah and Annie (Langell) Duffy and was the last surviving member of her family. Margaret is survived by her husband Chester; sister-in-law, Clara Duffy, Norton; nieces Verna Grenchuk, Halifax, and Jeanette Devenish, CA; nephews Gene Curtis, Hartford, CT, Montford Curtis, CA and Michael Anderson, Ferndale, WA and several cousins. She was predeceased by brothers James, Walter and Paul Duffy; sisters Molly Curtis, Phyllis Anderson, Constance Laforge and Hazel Duffy. Resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, with visiting on Monday, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM, Funeral service will be held from the Norton Baptist Church on Tuesday, December 6, 2005, at 2:00 PM, followed by interment in Midland Cemetery, Norton, NB.
