
JOAN SPLICER FORDHAM
SPLICER FORDHAM, JOAN - Mrs. Joan Splicer, 72, wife of Wayne Fordham of New Denmark passed away unexpectedly in hospital June 24, 2006. Born at Kahnawake Mohawk Reserve, Quebec in 1934, she was the daughter of the late John T. and Catherine L. (Armstrong) Splicer. Besides her husband, she is survived by five daughters, Colleen Giasson of Kahnawake, Melanie Giasson of Lavaltrie, Quebec, Denise Giasson and Trudy Kiepprien of Chateauguay, Quebec and April Kiepprien of New Denmark, one son, Rene Kiepprien (Tonta Splicer) of Kahnawake, 17 grandchildren, one great grandson. She was predeceased by a daughter, Heather MacKay, granddaughter, Katy-Lee Giasson-Marier and great granddaughter, Kaylee-Sage Rayson-Giasson. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting Tuesday from 7-9 p.m., Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 1-2 p.m. Her funeral will be held Thursday, June 29th at 2 p.m. from St. Ansgar's Anglican Church, New Denmark, with Rev.
