JANES, JANET IRENE - 1957 - 2007 - Janet Janes passed away at the Miramichi Hospital on Saturday, June 2nd, 2007 at the age of 50 after a brief battle with cancer. Besides her parents, Mary and Gordon Raymond, she is survived by one son, Matthew Janes of Saint John; two sisters, Linda La Berge (Dan) and Lois Raymond, both of Miramichi; two nieces, Melanie McCarthy (David) and Sandra Raymond (Greg); and special friend, Robert Manderson. At the request of the family there will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Janet's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
