TOBIN, WAYNE WALTER - Of Hampton, NB, left us peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital with his family by his side on May 29, 2008, two days before his 38th birthday, after having bravely faced cancer for the past year. Wayne is going to be sadly missed by his loving wife and best friend, Angie Joyce-Tobin; and his two beautiful daughters, Rebecca and Andrea; his parents, Walter and Yvette Tobin, of Saint John West; brother, Gary Tobin (Jackie); sister, Tina Milne (Kayden), both of Quispamsis; niece, Lauren Tobin; nephews, Sean Tobin, Ethan and Cole Milne; parents-in-law, Mike and Helen Joyce, of Milbrook, NB; and literally hundreds of friends. Wayne had worked in the trucking industry all his working life, most recently as an owner-operator with RST and was well known and liked by everyone he met, and he seemed to know just about everybody. This was evident from the amazing number of friends who organized and came out to support him and his family last year at a benefit auction. He was truly overwhelmed by this outpouring of support and caring by his friends and family. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Ave., (634-1701) visitation will take place on Saturday, May 31, 2008 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Sunday, June 1, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, June 2, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. Interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations, in memory of Wayne, may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
