SHANNON, WELDON FRANCIS - The death of Weldon Francis Shannon of Grove Hill, NB, husband of Darla (McLaughlin) Shannon occurred May 31, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born in Saint John, son of Debera (Totten) (Shannon) Sabean and the late Francis Shannon. Weldon was a member of Upham Fire Department. He is survived by his wife, Darla; mother, Debera and step-father, Steven Sabean, Barnesville; one sister, Sheila Shannon, Willow Grove; three brothers, Anthony Shannon (Betty), Barnesville, Randy Shannon (Sharon), Barnesville, Tim Bastian (Brenda), Sussex; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, one great nephew and six God children. Resting at Reid's Funeral Home (832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, with visitation 2 to 4pm & 7 to 9pm Monday. The funeral will be held Tuesday, 12 noon at Full Gospel Assembly, Saint John.
