JENSEN, STANLEY - At the Grand Falls General Hospital, July 8, 2008, Mr. Stanley Jensen of New Denmark passed away at the age of 73 years. He married Linda Jensen June 28, 1958. Born at Foley Brook, NB, in 1934, he was a son of the late Carroll and Dorrice (Laursen) Jensen. Besides his wife, he is survived by three children, Cheryl Jensen of New Denmark, Kim Pierce (Roy) of Wainwright, Alberta and Jack Jensen (Jennifer) of Holland Landing, Ontario; five grandchildren, Mark, Eve, Tom, Shelby and Chelsey; sisters and brother, Marion Sorensen and Elna Stone of New Denmark, Gene Parsons (Carl) of Plaster Rock, John Jensen (Marge) of New Denmark, Doreen White (Robert) of Scarborough, Ontario, Vera Laursen (Jim) and Betty Payne (Robert) of New Denmark; several nieces and nephews. Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Thursday from 7-9 p.m. On Friday, July 11th, the remains will be resting at the Bethany Lutheran Church in New Denmark from 1 to 2 p.m., at which time his funeral service will be held with Rev. David Knudson officiating. Interment will be in the Our Saviour Cemetery, Foley Brook.
