BURNS, DOROTHY (DOT) - Passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital, surrounded by family and friends, on Wednesday, March 18, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Rita Hart. Beloved wife of Norman Burns. She is survived by her son, Norman E. Jr. (Jean); daughters, Wendy Burns Murphy (James) and Marla Barton (Jason); grandchildren, Matthew and Katlyn Burns, Jeremy and Tyler Barton, and Shamus, Connor and Rylie Murphy; sisters, Bev Campbell (Bob), Elaine Moyer (Dallas) and Eleanor Moyer (Dawson); brothers, Russell Hart (Marilyn) and Allan Hart (Nancy) and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Castle Funeral Home, "Fallsview Chapel", 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John West, (634-1701) visitation will take place on Friday, March 20, 2009 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. from Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
