CARVELL, GEORGE W. - (August 15, 1923 - November 30, 2009) - The passing of George Carvell of Plaster Rock, NB occurred on November 30, 2009 at his residence at the age of 86. Born in Saint John, NB he was the son of the late William and Emily (Harrison) Carvell. George is survived by one daughter Sandra (Philip) Crawford of Alberta; 3 grandchildren Kathy (Craig) Erfle, Paul (Heather) Crawford and Sean (Krista) Crawford; great grandsons Gaelen and Kieran and great granddaughter Kristen. Predeceased by his parents, wife Bernice Carvell, brother Roy Carvell, sisters Thelma Stabler, Dea Bertelsen, Pearl Kierstead, Ruth Brown and Christina Comeau. Resting at White's Chapel, Centennial St. Plaster Rock with visiting hours on Wednesday, December 2nd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 3rd at 11 am from White's Chapel with Rev. Lorne Freake officiating. Interment in the Plaster Rock Community Cemetery.
