MCGOVERN, PATRICK JOSEPH - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Mr. Patrick Joseph McGovern occurred in B.C. on December 4, 2009. Born in Saint John on March 17, 1958. he was the son of the late William Gerald and Myrtle (Tanner) McGovern. Patrick is survived by sons Michael (Melissa) and their children Kevin, Kayla, and Brooklyn, of Saint John, Shawn and Patrick, both of Ontario, daughters Amanda and her children, Preston and Jacob,and his other daughter Josselyn of Ontario, step-daughters Courtney and Brittany of B.C., brothers Paul (Marta) of Saint John, Terrence of Ontario, Don Coholan of Saint John, sisters Rose (Tom) McAuley, Linda (Myles) Waycott, Brenda (Bob Hayward) McLennan Mary McGovern (Brian), and Shirley McGovern of Moncton, several nieces and nephews, and many first cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, and his brother Wayne. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Castle "Fallsview " Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John West (634-1701) Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church at a later date.
