Alexander Duplessis GLENWOOD, NB - Alexander Duplessis, 86, of MacDonald Rd., Glenwood, NB passed away on March 15, 2002 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital. Born in Baie Ste. Anne, NB, he was a son of the late Joseph Duplessis and Emily Mazzerolle. He was a fisherman and carpenter. He attended the Roman Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Eva Manuel; daughters, Mrs. Emma MacDonald (Vincent) of Glenwood, Mrs. Louisa Merserau (David) of Douglastown, Mrs. Theresa Harris (Burpee) of Napan, Gisele Duplessis of Toronto; sons, William of Moncton, Norman of Toronto, Emile of Blackriver; sisters, Clementine Sippley (Oliver), Baie Ste. Anne, Alvina MacDonald (Norman), Glenwood; brother, Mathias (Batu), Mount St. Joseph; 25 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three sons, Isruël, Maurice and Leonard. Resting at Baie Ste. Anne Slumberroom with visiting hours on Sunday, March 17 from 7-9 and Monday, March 18 from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral service will be held at the St Anne Roman Catholic Church, Baie Ste. Anne, NB on Tuesday March 19, 2002 at 4 pm. Interment in St Anne Cemetery, Baie Ste. Anne, NB.
