Everett Gorman OCEANSIDE, CA - Everett Thomas Gorman, 83, died Friday, September 20, 2002 at Tri-City Medical Centre. Born January 28, 1919, in Chatham, New Brunswick, he lived in Oceanside for 10 1/2 years. He retired as a teacher for the Rancho Santiago Community College District. He served as a major in the Canadian Army during World War II. He landed in Normandy, France, on D-Day. Mr. Gorman is survived by his wife of 60 years, Evelyn Gorman of Oceanside; sons and daughters-in-law Greg and Dodie Gorman of Solvang, Everett and Mariette Gorman of Edmonton, and S. Hugh and Susan Gorman of La Crescenta; daughters and sons-in-law Sue and Phil Riddle of Colorado Springs, Colo and Cindy and Rick Eastman of San Luis Obispo; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
