Vaughan E. Harvey Vaughan E. Harvey, 96, of Spencer Memorial Home and formerly of People Park Tower, Moncton passed away at his residence on Tuesday November 26, 2002. Born in Moncton son of the Late James and Alice (Mitchell) Harvey. Vaughan was retired from C.N.R. with 38 years service, member of First United Baptist Church, Acacia Lodge #49 F&AM, B.M. W. E. Lodge #1149, former Councillor with City of Moncton , served in Ward 2 and Councillor-at-Large for 23 years, former volunteer fireman with the City of Moncton. Vaughan will be sadly missed by his wife of 75 years, Leona (Flewelling) Harvey; daughter Myrna MacDonald, Moncton; grandchildren, Susan Cowan (Bob), Riverview; Jayne Steeves, Fredericton; great grandchildren, Geoffrey and Scott Cowan, Colin and Craig Steeves; several nieces and nephews , and was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Predeceased by brothers, Fred and Albert. No visitation by personal request. Funeral Service at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Thursday November 28, 2002, 1:30pm, Rev. Greg Geldart and Rev. Delbert Bannister officiating.
