Carmel Lorraine LeBlanc 1930-2003 It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Carmel Lorraine LeBlanc on February 15, 2003. Born in Saint John, NB on February 11, 1930 she was the youngest daughter of late Harry and Katherine (Keenan) Reardon. Carmel was a graduate of St. Vincents Girls High in Saint John and Mount Carmel Academy. She worked as a secretary in Saint John and London, Ontario until becoming a full time stay at home mom. In later years she worked as a library assistant at Riverview High School. She was a member of The Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 53 years, Yves LeBlanc; sons, Mark (Kathi), Chris (Valerie), David (Colette), all of Riverview and Wayne of Vancouver, BC; daughters, Janice (Terry) Rickard of Moncton, and Lise Marie (Bob) Miller of Riverview. She leaves behind 11 grandchildren, Brett, Colin, Kelly, Jenaya, Kurt, Justine, Michael, Melissa, Breanne, Dara, and Kristen and one great grandchild, Brianna; sisters, Cathy (Frank) Bayliss of Peterborough Ont, Doreen MacGorman of St. Thomas Ont, and Olive Bamford of Abbotsford, BC. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sister, Marion; brothers, Edmund, Clement and Gervase. Resting at The Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Road on Sunday, February 16, 2003 from 7 to 9pm and Monday, February 17, 2003 from 7 to 9pm. There will be parish prayers held at the funeral home Monday evening at 8:30pm. The Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 18, 2003 at 11:00 am with Father Jeff Doucet officiating.
